Road Editor

Thank you so much Le Samedi for your great work. All works fine now.

There was a serious bug and we are looking for support on this urgently. Our team is working on a demo build so it would be great if you could follow up on this as soon as possible.

Let me describe the problem briefly.

  1. After placing roads using your Road Editor, we deleted them, saved terrain
  2. And then we adjusted height of terrain
  3. When we tried to place the roads again, terrain was abruptly moved based on the height value before revision. (the height value from #1) It seems that this was due to the auto digging feature. We need to know how to turn it off or reset it.

It looks like the old height values are saved somewhere and the new height values are not reflected.
FYI, we are using Unreal Editor 4.11 version.

would like to purchase ??

Could you tell me the procedure

Amazing work, Le Samedi. I am patiently waiting to pick this tool up for my project, however, to save even more time, the idea of implementing OpenStreetData makes the most sense, since I can plug away on other things until it’s released. I was wondering if you still plan to work on that feature? Also, are there any plans on adding toggleable guardrails, curbs, and sidewalks per spline segment (and able to change mesh per segment so we can use regular sidewalk and driveway entrance pieces, crosswalks, etc)?

Hi Le Samedi,

Haven’t seen you here for a few weeks - hope all is well!

I was wondering if you had any idea when you will be able to release the 4.12 version?

Also, deerkneez, if you haven’t already solved your problem, did you try deleting the RoadEditor landscape cache from the world outliner?

Cheers.

good job ,realy interested on the road editor could you make one more génerique for all blueprints like Prefabs that regroup many blueprints

Understand, but don’t bet on OSM for tomorrow. Not very hard to implement but it costs time. I avoid making up the price of the plugin working exclusively on it. But curbs should not take a long time to appear, we do not have much to do before moving to the level design, and therefore adapt the tool certain needs such as sidewalks and bridges.

It is already in 4.12 on the website. Just download Update_Only zip and replace files. Don’t worry for deerkneez, i answer him by mail long time ago

So it is - I guess I should have checked there first eh! Thank You - as always excellent product and excellent support.

Can’t wait to see curbs!

When is this coming to the marketplace?

Hello, I’m interested in this plug-in. How do I purchase it? I sent an email to the support address listed on your website but haven’t heard back yet.

Sidewalks and bridges certainly sound interesting. What’s the good word on them?

How do I buy the plugin? Your site says that the product is ‘protected’ and I did create an account. It says to ‘contact us’ before buying. My username is Xonos on your site.

Ah, i just see that. I don’t have internet all the time where i am, i respond to all mails right now. I do not think I had much this summer.

Hi, I too, wanted to buy it from the website, but looks like its protected. As you mentioned above, I understand there is a network coverage issue. Would you let me know how I can buy it to check out your amazing work?, Thanks.

Everyone should get this. It’s a lifesaver.

It is. I just can’t wait for the sidewalks and bridges! Man, gonna be awesome.
(and then I modify the sidewalks to cover driveways
)

I can not buy this plugin, I would like used.

Hi,
we recently bought your road editor. I currently try to create my first crossing, and stumbled across a problem. To speedup the creation process I wanted to import the sockets with the modell, which worked (see first image), but when I use the mesh in the road editor, the sockets aren’t there (see second image). Is there any way, that I can tell the road editor to use the sockets from the mesh? That would save me a lot of time.

It marks me :
