Rnsfebay - HexVoid.Studio — 16K Panoramic Sky Collection (GLB / HDR / EXR) - Vol. 2

Overview

A premium set of 3 panoramic skies purpose-built for image-based lighting, reflections, and cinematic backdrops across DCC and game engines. This edition standardizes on 16K masters and ships only the formats teams actually light with or stage quickly: GLB skydome, 32-bit HDR, and 32-bit EXR. 8k

What’s Included (Per Sky)

  • HDRI (Lighting/Reflections)

    • .HDR (true 32-bit, linear)

    • .EXR (true 32-bit, linear, full-float)
Use for physically-based lighting, accurate speculars, and robust grading latitude. 8k

  • GLB Skydome (Backdrops/Previs)

    • .glb (glTF 2.0) inverted-sphere dome with UVs and unlit/emissive material for instant staging and previs. 8k

Note: This 16K-only release intentionally excludes LDR JPG/PNG plates, cubemaps (including Roblox variants), and video loops to keep the package streamlined for professional lighting and staging workflows. 8k

Resolution & Color

  • Resolution: 16,384 × 8,192 (equirectangular 2:1) for panoramic sources.

  • Color space: HDR/EXR delivered in linear; GLB dome configured for unlit/emissive display.
Designed to replace prior “up to 8K” LDR assets with a single, high-ceiling master for down-res/mipping as needed. 16k

Technical Specs

  • Bit Depth: 32-bit floating point (HDR/EXR).

  • GLB Skydome: glTF 2.0, unit scale = 1.0, inverted normals, non-overlapping UVs, unlit/emissive material (set double-sided where required). 8k

  • Seams/Horizon: Seamless 360° wrap with stable horizons for camera moves. 8k

Compatibility

  • DCC: Blender, 3ds Max, Maya, Cinema 4D, Houdini, Substance, Nuke.

  • Engines: Unreal Engine, Unity, Godot, Three.js/WebGL (GLB supported).
HDR/EXR files slot directly into HDRI/SkyLight/Environment nodes; GLB domes drop into scenes for fast backdrops and previs. 8k

Quick Import Notes

  • Lighting: Prefer .EXR in Sky/Sky Light/HDRI Backdrop for physically accurate lighting; re-bake reflections after switching environments. 8k

  • GLB Dome: Import the inverted-sphere .glb; assign unlit/emissive shading. Use as a visual sky/backplate; keep lighting driven by the EXR/HDR. 8k

Delivery & Structure

  • Per-sky foldering with consistent naming and preview thumbnails.

  • License: Royalty-free for commercial and personal use (per original terms). 8k

Naming Scheme (Examples)

WHx.exr

WHx.hdr

WHx.glb

Aligned with the previous convention, updated to 16K and limited to EXR/HDR/GLB assets. 8k

Value & Rationale

  • Higher fidelity lighting: 16K, 32-bit masters minimize blurring on glossy/speculars and provide grading headroom.

  • Lean deliverables: Only the three formats most used in pro pipelines—no redundant LDR plates or cube/video variants.

  • Production-ready: Consistent structure, naming, and color management simplify ingestion across DCC and engines.
