Riverside Cafe - Environment Art

Hello, everyone!
I decided to upload here my last personal project made in Unreal Engine 5.2.
It was my first time to use PCG Graph and UE5 Water System, so I tried to concentrate on them and to experiment as much as possible. It was absolutely fun and I’m satisfied with the result very much.
I also tried to create a nice, calm atmosphere both in a daylight and a nightlight version of the scene.
And I used many wonderful assets and textures provided by Quixel Megascans.

Hope you enjoy the result!

On my YouTube channel you can also find a timelapse video of the creation process of this scene.

Hi there @H_Marina ! Welcome to posting with us here on the forums! We are super excited to see what projects you can create.

I for one am already impressed by this scene you’ve presented. The idea of a little cafe in this kind of environment sounds very intriguing to me. The outside is also captured in a way I’m thinking it looks more like a spot right out of Red Dead Redemption 2!

What was the inspiration for making this scene?

Thank you so much!

Real nature was the main inspiration source for me during this project. I like to enjoy walking in forests and valleys, so I wanted to express them as realistic as possible in my scene.

And yes, you’re right, I was also playing in Red Dead Redemption 2 at that time , so it has a big influence on me too, I think.
The nature and lighting in RDR 2 impressed me a lot!

Howdy @H_Marina,

Hope you’re well and having a wonderful week so far

Had to pop into this thread just to say how utterly stunning the lighting in this environment is. From a sunrise honey-like glow to a misty horror-like night time setting… it’s done so genuinely well. Beautifully done
