Rivers break if my landscape is too big

I’m working with a 4k x 4k unit landscape and using the water system. Oceans and lakes work fine, but rivers are failing to deform the landscape. After some digging, I discovered that the “combined velocity and height rta/rtb” texture in the landscape water brush manager is not being written to by the river. However, if I scale down my landscape by .5 the river begins writing to the texture again and all is well. I’m thinking that this texture is limited to working with a certain landscape size and wanted to look deeper, but it is stored in Engine/Transient and I cannot access the file. Does anyone know how I can remove this size limitation or do you have a better workaround? Scaling everything that I have is likely to be a lot of work and I want everything to stay at its default scale if possible.
