Does anyone have experience with a ring light for non-macro use, like up to 5m distance.
I am looking for a lightweight model with high power (obviously).
Problem is, that’s a contradiction in itself.
The problem is, that the powerful ones are too heavy to handle without tripod for an extended period of time…
If you decide to use a ring light, I rather recommend using the small ones which can be attached onto the lens for scanning objects that have holes in them or small cavities which cannot be lit up using the classic external flash.
