A couple of weeks ago the my right mouse button suddenly started selecting random underlying objects while Im navigating in the editor (W,D,A,S, + holding down the right mouse button)
What happens is that while im navigating the editor viewport it is almost as the right mouse button is trying to select underlying objects at the same time, and the right click properties menu suddenly appears.
At the time this started happening i both upgraded to UE 4.16 and a Windows 10 update was automatically installed on my PC.
Currently my UE4 is useless because of this issue.
Anyone else had this problem?
OK, i fixed the problem myself.
After several days of trying to find a software"glitch" i ended up trying a different mouse.
And what do you know, it was a buggy mouse…
God I’m stupid…
I just upgraded to 4.18 and had this problem on several projects. Was about to post when I saw your experience. I hadn’t been in the editor for 3 weeks and it was working fine then, but sure enough, switched mice and it is fine.
I have the same issue, my mouse is a logitech, what did solve your issue ? I have the same issue on UE4.26 4.27 5.0 5.0.1 5.0.2 5.0.3 and with or without remote controlling with parsec…
I know it is not always possible for everybody to buy a new mouse. So this is what worked for me but might not work for everyone. “Go into your mouse properties / settings and play around with the double click speed like setting it a bit faster or slower”.
