When I right-click on something (namely animations and actors), half of the menu (the first thing offscreen is the duplicate button) is not visible. I tried collapsing both the content browser and UE, but neither seems to work. Thoughts?
I had the same issue. Found out that it isn’t realy a bug by the UE4 Editor.
Somehow my settings in Windows cause this issue after I updates to UE4 2.25.
Solution for me: Set your Screen Scale to 100% in windows (s. screenshot). Hope it helps you.
I think this is a bug for UE4. I know this is related to screen DPI and Windows scaling. On my ROG G14 which has 14-inch 2560x1440 display, its screen DPI is high that Windows recommended 200% scaling. By using this recommended scaling value, I have the same behavior as OP. By changing this scaling to 175% will “solve” this problem but it is only a workaround. Because 175% will make other application like web browser or file explorer’s font size too small.
I found another method which is just uncheck “enable high DPI support” in editor preferences. However, this will make UE4 a lot blurry. So it seems there’s a bug in UE4’s high DPI support.
Hi @iouzzr !
I am sending this message to you regarding a possible bug you may be experiencing. Please feel free to report any bugs to the Unreal Engine Forum bug tracker, which can be found here. Be sure to give as much detail as possible so we know how best to fix the problem. If possible, images or videos are also immensely helpful when trying to resolve the issue.
We may reach out if more information is needed.
Have an Awesome Weekend, my friend!
I can’t believe this is a year old and still not fixed. Clicking disable DPI in the editor settings worked for me. Epic needs to fix this!!
One way to fix this without lowering the screen size too much is to set the screen size to 125%. It isn’t as big as before, but it’s not unbearably small either.
