Simply explaining: You as POV Player character walk up to door, press E, input gets disabled and sequencer plays: Character reaches door with hand to push but the door falls apart and character gets scared and goes to default pose. Enabling input after the sequence plays. to make this happen I animated my character in blender and imported the animation. achieved the goal BUT! But one thing that Unreal Engine would make perfection with is:
Using the Player character in Sequence, in the same position you set his location to animate him with “Rig FK Track” I think it’s called (Real-Time-and-position-rig animating), then bring door in sequencer and animate it falling and done! It’d make making games further better with animations like picking up, dying, custom animations etc (along with camera animations) which playing person feels the gameplay at its finest. What do you guys think? or is there a way to achive this sort of concept?
