ermm, the ribbon like all tangled up when the character is moving, anyone know what is the underlying issue ? the character is from paragon shinbi. i just import to unreal, didn’t really change anything related to bone,material,etc.
i am using UE 5.3.1 version.
OS : Windows 10 64-bit
i managed to solve it.
open up shinbi skeletal mesh tab, right click on the cloth -->remove clothing data → create clothing data from section–> create
after that right click cloth again → apply clothing data and select the one you created.
then select the cloth again, and click “activate cloth paint” and paint the top area a bit until it is pink and after that the cloth will start animating.
here is a video i followed, you can follow it from the start to minute 6.
PS: it’s not perfect though because some part of the cloth is separated and fall down. ( i have no idea how to fix it, anyone managed to fix it let me know )
