Project Overview
Rouges Chronicles is a psychological horror game in Unreal Engine 5.7.1 that translates the lived experience of Parkinson’s Disease (Motor Freezing, tremors, hallucinations) into core gameplay mechanics.
Platform: PC - Steam
Structure: 20 linear chapters, 15-30 minutes each
Stage: Pre-production (complete GDD, assets acquired, no playable build yet)
Who I Am
I’m a 47-year-old accountant with Parkinson’s Disease.
I am NOT a technical developer - I’m the Game Designer & Project Owner.
What’s Already in Place
Complete Game Design Document (20 chapters)
AAA Marketplace Assets purchased (Neon Star, Dekogon, Leartes, Meshingun Studio, Scans Factory, Hivemind)
Sound Designer/Composer confirmed
Clear creative vision - ready for technical execution
Full Transparency
The project is currently only on paper.
-
No playable build
-
No implemented mechanics
I’m looking for a technical team that can take ownership and drive development forward.
My Commitment
This is not a commercial project for me. If the game generates revenue, the vast majority goes to the team (e.g., out of €10,000, I’d take €1,000 for asset recovery, the team gets €9,000). (Figures are illustrative - actual split to be defined together.)
Critical Roles Needed
-
Senior Developer / Technical Lead - To coordinate technical vision and team
-
UE5 Developer (Blueprint/C++) - Core mechanics and systems
-
Technical Animator (Control Rig) - Symptom-driven procedural animation
-
Lighting Artist (Lumen) - Dynamic, mood-driven lighting for psychological horror
-
Level Designer (Flow & Pacing) - 20-chapter structure with deliberate pacing
Medium Priority Roles
-
VFX Artist (Niagara)
-
UI/UX Designer (Diegetic)
-
Character Artist (Sculpting/Texturing)
What I’m Looking For
Ownership - Lead your domain independently
Problem-solvers - I need people who unblock themselves
Clear communicators - Proactive, not reactive
Committed - Not “I’ll try it out”
