Before I used to be able to split face a wall and apply two different paints to one wall, it appears no that twinmotion reads walls as one element and does not carry over the split face which i am then unable to use two different colors, is there a setting i am missing?

I had the same issue; assume it’s some form of glitch.. The only thing that has worked for me, was deleting the wall with split face in Revit, synchronise with Twinmotion to make sure it disappeared. Then redrew it in Revit altogether with split face, and resynchronise.
We only export datasmith. If you use by material and make sure you are not sharing the same asset material. Should work fine.
