Revit 2026 & Twinmotion 2025.1 for Revit not compatible?

I was expecting the new Revit 2026 to be compatible with the release of Twinmotion 2025.1 for Revit. I don’t see why Epic/Unreal Engine/Twinmotion would release an early version of Twinmotion 2025.1 for Revit before Autodesk released 2026, since that Twinmotion 2025.1 for Revit wasn’t compatible for Revit 2025 at the time. Now, with the new Revit 2026, it is still incompatible. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? When accessing Twinmotion for Revit via the Autodesk’s product and services site, it doesn’t even list Revit 2026 compatibility.

I don’t see what purpose Twinmotion 2025.1 for Revit even serves if it is incompatible with every release of Revit thus far.

Yes, I agree there seems to be a conflict in information.

Yet there is a 2025.1.0 version for download.

The compatibility and download dialogs are not in Sync.

Hey, I am wondering if you resolved the connection issue?

I am encountering the same problem.

For me this seems to be working fine. I do have Twinmotion 2025.1 (not the for revit version) installed as well since it took forever before the 2025.1 for revit version was available. Default if i use ‘open in Twinmotion’ from the view tab it will open in the regular version. If I first start Twinmotion for Revit and then use the lmport > Direct link it works just fine. Have you tried it that way?

C4D users who have been using TwinMotion since 2022 are already in tears in the bathroom
So far, there is no sync plugin
