For some reason when I sync and "See in Twinmotion" It only shows some of my geometry. I've tried every possible Synchronization settings to make it work but for some reason it just doesn't. It might have to do with the fact the file that is missing is a linked file. Do you suggest everything be merged into one file? If so that's pretty counterproductive to our current Revit workflow. We cant attach these xrefs or it will kill our scene size and make it unworkable.
It sounds like you're using the legacy Direct Link plugin, as the "See in Twinmotion" button is a feature of that plugin, but not of our current Datasmith plugins, which have replaced it.
Please try downloading the Twinmotion Datasmith Exporter plugin for Revit, which should fix this issue and offer several improvements over the legacy plugin. You'll find links to the usage and installation guides on the download page with more info on how to use the plugin.
Please also note that the legacy and Datasmith plugins aren't compatible with each other, so models imported with one plugin can't be re-synced using the other, so it's best to start using the Datasmith plugin for new projects going forward.
I've installed Datasmith for Unreal Engine 5.1 and then tried installing the Twinmotion for Revit plugin... It says I've already a newer version and when I import either via direct link or Datasmith, the geometry is not showing in Twinmotion. I'm guessing is either going Unreal Engine or Twinmotion, but not both?
