Hi, I’ve searched for a thread or solution but nothing relevant shows.
Is there any possible way to revert the look of the blueprint editor from Ue5 to Ue4?
I feel the UI is a downgrade, and normally I’d make do but it’s cutting into node organization.
The changes I view as downgrades include:
- The variables do not have unique icons
- The variable icons have lost their skeuomorphism
- The variable icons are detached from the name when on the right side
- The variable names are more vertically spread out and take up more space
- Having the variable type as visible text is redundant
- The comment bubbles have a distracting ring inside them
- The blueprint wires and labels are too low contrast
The mission critical change for me:
- The wires fade when zoomed out
If there’s any possible way to fix the wires fading out I can deal with the rest. They seem to revert to default behavior when the View>Hide Unused Pins is enabled, but I need these pins to be visible.
We have the ability to change panel colors in Editor Preferences>Appearance>Active Theme, but this only alleviates the label contrast, I’m not sure if there’s a way to change the wire colors.
Any help is appreciated.
