Hi,
I want to make a video in Unreal recreating the effect shown in this video Using Tyflow and 3ds Max to reveal a building in Nvidia Omniverse Create - Tutorial - YouTube
Is it possible in same way?
I know 3ds max and tyflow but for this project I must use rhino 6 and unreal so It will be really nice if someone can help me to find a tutorial or some info to do it.

Creating a building reveal effect in Unreal Engine, similar to what you’ve seen done with TyFlow and 3ds Max, is certainly possible. While the exact workflow may differ due to the different tools involved, Unreal Engine’s robust set of features allows for complex animations and simulations.
For your project involving Rhino 6 and Unreal, you can follow these steps:
- Model your building in Rhino 6: Ensure that your model is complete with all necessary details.
- Export your model to Unreal Engine: Use the Datasmith plugin to export your Rhino model into Unreal Engine1. This plugin is designed to translate your 3D design data into Unreal while preserving geometry, materials, and textures.
- Set up your Unreal Engine project: Once your model is in Unreal, you can use the built-in tools to create the reveal effect. You might need to explore Unreal’s Chaos Physics system or other particle systems to simulate the reveal effect.
- Animate the reveal: Use Unreal’s Sequencer to animate the building’s construction or reveal. You can keyframe the visibility of different parts of the building or use materials and shaders to create a transition effect.
For a more detailed guide, you can refer to tutorials that cover importing Rhino models into Unreal Engine and setting up the necessary animations2. Additionally, the Unreal Engine forums and community resources can be valuable places to seek specific advice and step-by-step instructions3.
Remember, while the tools are different, the principles of animation and simulation remain the same. With some exploration and experimentation, you should be able to recreate a similar effect in Unreal Engine using your Rhino 6 model. Good luck with your project!
