For a few updates, MetaSounds were available and usable in UEFN, then randomly they disappeared with no explanation.
It would be awesome to have them back because they allow much more flexible Audio Creation, possibly could be used through the Audio Device.
Yes, meta sounds please. If the 4.6 Unreal audio system is now considered legacy I see no other way forward apart from being bound to FN devices which are very limited.

Thanks for the feedback and letting us know how useful MetaSounds are. It’s on our roadmap to include them in UEFN. We made a decision to remove them for open beta as our attention was focused on ensuring all the other aspects of the Audio Player device and importing audio was working. Because MetaSounds is such an important feature, we wanted to make sure we were thoughtful with how to roll it out and which parts to expose first ( eg. how would we expose presets ) .
