Hi, I created a character in Blender with the same bone structure as the UE5 Mannequin. When I import it, there are no issues — the skeleton works fine and the scaling looks correct.
However, when I try to retarget Mannequin animations to my character, the character becomes extremely small (like a minion) and appears far away from the source(Mannequin). This happens with every animation I try to retarget.
I’m not sure what’s causing this problem. Can anyone help me figure it out?
Checking around the community, a similar scenario took place in another thread, where the user had an imported model, and retargeting the animations altered the model, and moved it away from position. The issue was related to a scaling conflict with Blender. Please check the details here:
