Retargeting a DAZ character and exporting it to Marvelous

Hi guys.
I successfully imported a Daz character into Unreal 5.1 by watching this tutorial: Daz3D Figure to UE 5.1 | 3rd Person Game With Genesis 9 Animation Retargeting | Unreal Engine 5.1 - YouTube
I bought some animations from Unreal Marketplace, and when I tried to make the retarget it didn´t work. The result was a character twisting in different ways.
I had another issue when I tried to export the DAZ character from Unreal to import it in Marvelous. In Marvelous, the character is imported upside down. After retargeting process, I have to export the animated character to Marvelous.
Any idea how to fix those issues?
Thanks in advance.

You have to pass through a DCC and change your orientation axis.
All software(s) use whatever they felt like using when they made them…

Sorry to ask you, but what´s a DCC?

Digital content creator.

Essentially any 3d editing program in this case.

To tack on to MostHost_LA adding DCC apps to the pipeline is a better option over and above trying to do digital manipulation with in the Unreal engine. It can be done but is like trying to write a book using a spreadsheet app.

The opportunity here though is Genesis and Daz Studio is picking up in popularity as a character development platform as a replacement option to the default Epic rig as well as an alternative to the rather complex Metahuman platform and the marketplace could be expanded to provided digital assets targeted towards the Genesis framework. The problem with doing DCC stuff in UE is the results is unpredictable and most times unique as far as problems goes so best practice would be to work at the source level even though it’s yet another learning curve.
