Using UE 4.25.1, source. Editor preferences has checked “restore open asset tabs on restart”. However, when using “Start Debugging” within visual studio to open the editor/project, no restoration takes place. However, when using “Start Without Debugging” within visual studio to open the editor/project, restoration DOES take place as expected.
Same problem here on my source-compiled (but unmodified) version of Unreal 4.25.1.
Update: Still happening in UE 4.26.0
So does anyone know if, when using VS, and opening the editor using START DEBUGGIN, asset tabs are not expected to be restored? If not, can anyone suggest some potential settings and/or things I can look at? Huge time waster.
It does work if I select START WITHOUT DEBUGGING.
