I’m having a strange problem where my heightmap basically resets to what I assume could be default data settings after restarting Unreal and removes the outer rim.
I’ve tried using both PNG and RAW 16 bit format and I’m importing height maps from Gaea.
The first image is of my settings when importing.
The second image is how it looks right after importing and saving which is how it’s supposed to look.
The final image is how it looks like after I restart Unreal.
I’ve done this on both 5.1.1 and 5.2 with the results absolutely the same. Any fix?
