Respawn()

The respawn() function appears to be so buggy it is impossible to use. I need to manually respawn players at specific points in gameplay. Most importantly, I need to programmatically respawn a player who is in spectating mode. Any advice for workarounds?

we had a similar problem with our map we got round it by not actually letting players goto to spectator mode, instead we ended up using a penalty box wher you would be repawned to till the round was over

seems like the respawn function is fubar at the moment

Thx. That idea was floated here too, but it would break immersion and flow with our particular map, so we are trying to think outside the box; all puns intended. No programmatic or device wizardry has succeeded.

Respawn breaks the character in bad ways.
