Hello,
You aim to create a continuous loop of alternating waveforms, smoothly transitioning between them using crossfades.
Achieving the Desired Effect:
- Create Multiple Tracks: Set up two tracks, one for each waveform.
- Overlap Waveforms: Extend the first waveform to overlap with the second.
- Apply Crossfade: Select the overlapping region and use Audacity’s “Crossfade Classic” effect. AARP
- Looping: To create a continuous loop, duplicate the first waveform and place it after the second. Apply another crossfade at the end of the second waveform.
- Adjust Crossfade Length: Experiment with different crossfade lengths to achieve the desired effect.
