I am trying to create a simple car simulator and I tried to create a reset function for the car to reset the car at its starting position. I tried using a ‘R’ key pressed/released connected to a reset orientation and position. This is my first time using Unreal so sorry if the awenser is something simple.
If you want to use keyboard keys like that, you need to make sure you have enabled it in the BP details. Class defaults -> Auto receive input: player 0
Ok, I switched the Auto receive input to ‘player 0’ but the reset orientation and position blueprint. I did some research and found that i need to use some kind of enum (enumerator) blue print to connect to the position modifier. I think the orientation and posistion modifier is the right blue print but i cant find a enum blueprint that hits the mark.
