Reset 3-d view, also rotate model (or swap axises)

  1. I have somehow scrolled, zoomed, panned or something and my model cannot be seen. How can I reset the 3-d view?

  2. How can I rotate the entire model, or swap axises as it is oriented incorrectly.

  1. Reconstruction => Define Ground Plane

This lets you move and rotate your aligned object.

  1. Scene => Reset View

Ok thank you that works.

I see that holding shift will snap rotation in increments, is there a way to enter it numerically, e.g. R X 90 <ENTER>

Also how can I hide all non model widgets (bounding box, cameras, grid floor…)

Hello Gregory,

  1. how to get rid of the bouding box: reconstruction tab / set reconstruction region (drop-down menu) - ‘clear region’
  2. how to get rid of the cameras in the 3D view: click in a 3D view of a model, then click in the 3D / scene tab (next to the reconstruction tab) and move the slider under the ‘Camera Scale’ to the left to make them smaller
  3. how to get rid of the grid in the 3D view: click in a 3D view of a model, then click in the 3D / scene tab (next to the reconstruction tab) and tick off the ‘Show Grid’ option

What else?

Great, thank you. I’ve got another, much different, question, that needs a new post.

i just experienced the same and this one helped me

Go to View (3D), select Frame Selection. Then it will act normally.
