I’m so tired of having to use Bootcamp just for UEFN to work on my Mac. There’s no reason why it shouldn’t be able to run on there
UEFN on MAC
Apparently, it’s yet another Apple being Apple situation, not an Unreal Engine problem. Apple banned Unreal for Fortnite Editor from the stored:

Up. We really need it
I was able to run UEFN on macOS while using console as destination target. Like my reply please if you want to see tutorial for this.
Which emulator are you using? And tutorial yes please (only if it doesnt require 80gb, just kidding)
TLDR: I was able to run it through Crossover with some additional jump through hoops and some stuff not working
Native UEFN on macOS would be great!
I’ve described instructions how to run UEFN on macOS via Crossover here, let me know if helped you:
I agree. With the new apple silicon, Mac is now suitable hardware for game development. As a software engineer with long experience in functional programming and logic programming, and as a person who always wanted to get into gamedev, it’s a shame I can’t play around UEFN with Verse.
I do agree.
This should definitely be a thing. I just got a Mac and have started using UE, but I just saw that UEFN isn’t available for Mac’s! Kind of annoying, I hope they make it compatible, seeing as Kitbash 3d just made Cargo Mac compatible
Moving to the feedback and requests forum.
Hello, thanks for moving the thread into the right section, however despite us being aware of the situation between Apple and Epic Games, I hope it happens. UE5 runs very well on MX so could UEFN without the need of Fortnite since I think everyone are willing to use a Phone/Console as workaround to test our maps if we only have that solution for now until Epic x Apple fight ends. @Esphynox and I proved that UEFN is clearly possible to run without the need of the main game binary or just some dependencies from it but it’s not perfect. The extensions are also working very well but everything would be better native.
I completely agree, UEFN on MacOS would help tremendously!
