Requesting option to open Browser instead of Launcher's Fab to view FAB asset "pages"... please!!!

Currently, Launcher’s Fab page is very slow vs web browser, and has no “back” button, so any attempt to look at details of a Fab Library asset from the Unreal Engine Library page is an immediate and significant impediment to flow and productivity.

If the user clicks the name of the asset in the Fab section of the Library page, there is a long delay before being able to see the details, and there is no “back” button to get back to the Fab Library where the click was made. User can click the Unreal Engine section in the left column, but that lands at the top of the Library page, not where the asset was clicked. MASSIVE loss of time.

Current alternative is to open a browser, open Fab in browser, type in the name of the asset to search and finally click the found asset to review details.

Very very cumbersome for a super simple task that used to be one click that opened a browser and showed the asset details without interruption.

Please add an option in Settings (or right-click menu option?) to configure Launcher to open Fab assets in browser instead of Fab page. ……. please….

Just middle click on the asset and it will open “new page” which basically opens it in browser.

Heya @Njushchyshyn  Thank you for taking the time to reach out and post your feedback on the Epic Developer Community. I will be passing your feedback/request onto the appropriate team.

As @EyeOfScar mentioned, a work around could be to middle click on the asset which should open a new page on browser. The only issue you may run into here is if you have multiple browser profiles.

Thanks!
