So when you’re editing your level in vr, you have a couple of choices for which level editing gizmo is onscreen (universal, move, rotate, scale). The issue I have with them is that I don’t use those gizmos the vast majority of the time and when you’re not using them, they end up getting in the way of your lasers quite often. You’ll be trying to select a mesh and you accidentally rotated or stretched it or whatever… Another reason why I feel they’re so easy to accidentally use is that I often select meshes by holding down the trigger button only half way, because a mesh can be selected with you using the trigger half way but can’t be edited unless you press the trigger all the way. So you’re supposed to be safe when you’re selecting objects by only pressing the trigger half way, but there’s one contradiction to that rule : the gizmo’s tool handles are usable when you press the triggers half way… So you can still be editing meshes on accident when you’re only trying to select one.
To fix this, I’d recommend an additional option in that toggleable gizmo list, which is NO GIZMO.
Thanks again!
