I have no idea how many times I have clicked the big blue button at the top of the page after reviewing my question and attaching all the required files just to have to rewrite it all over again. I’m sure it can’t be just me. Anyone else doing this?

Nope, I’ve not had that specific problem, but there are lots of times on lots of web sites where it craps out and you lose what you typed. But there’s hope! Depending on your browser, you can probably find a plugin or extension to address the problem on your end. Here are some examples for Firefox:
