Hey guys! I’ve been using UE4 for almost a year now and I am really loving it. Having used UDK/UE3 for years, I was really excited when UE4 came out.
Now for one thing I have always wanted: when a camera is set to be orthographic, the camera frustum is still a cone as if it is a perspective camera. It would be awesome if the frustum changed to be a rectangular cube for an easier grasp of what it is seeing. My game requires very precise camera positions and the whole “move camera, play, adjust camera, play, adjust camera more, play” gets really old quickly.
Also, on a side note, are there any plans in the works to fix the Orthographic camera preview? It’s pretty useless at the moment.
