Request: please consider publishing the launcher as an official Snap package in the Snap Store.
Why:
- Easier install for Ubuntu users - one click in App Center, no need to install `libfuse2t64`, set executable permissions or create menu shortcuts manually.
- Automatic updates handled by the system, consistent with other apps.
- Proper desktop integration out of the box (menu entry, icon, file associations).
- There is a proven model: the Steam Snap (maintained with Canonical) runs under strict confinement, with interfaces for GPU, audio, controllers and a writable area for client self-updates. A similar approach could work for the Epic launcher, possibly in cooperation with Canonical. The AppImage works, but a native package would make the launcher feel like a first-class citizen on Ubuntu, which is one of your officially supported distributions.
