Request for Uploading Large File Package on Fab Store

Dear Fab Store Team,

I hope you’re doing well.

I am a 3D artist currently selling a car vehicle pack on ArtStation, and I would like to list the same product on Fab Store. The pack includes over 250 car models, and each model is provided in one native Blender file along with five additional file formats.

Due to the size of the asset collection, the total size of each file format exceeds 18 GB. Since I am offering the complete package as a bundled offer, I need to upload all files together. However, I’ve encountered a limitation—Fab Store currently allows a maximum file upload size of 6 GB, which prevents me from uploading the full pack.

Could you please advise on how I can proceed with uploading larger files or if there is an alternative method (such as using external download links) that complies with your platform’s guidelines?

Glad someone is encountering the same problem, this is a weird limitation. Don’t expect FAB support to care about your issue though, I’ve been trying to get them to help with my consistent upload problems to no avail.

Hey there!

Right now the hard limit of 6 GB will remain due to a variety of factors. Of course, we are looking to expand this limit as well as including more reliable upload methods (such as supporting multi-part resumable uploads, for ex). We are exploring a variety of options.

Currently there are no alternative upload methods, but this is also something that we’d like to include in future builds of the marketplace. It goes without saying that having an expanded offering for uploading will also make bundling and asset management much easier. In short, we’re working on it!
