One-page pitch for noir/steampunk UE5 action-adventure (“The Clockwork Effigy”)

Body: Hi all — I’m looking for targeted feedback on a one-page pitch for a single-player, third-person action-adventure/suspense game I’m developing (UE5 planned). It’s a film-noir steampunk city setting with dual protagonists (PI vs Alchemist) where character choice changes how you gather info and approach missions.

I’d especially love feedback on:

  • Whether the core hook reads clearly in one pass

  • What feels most distinctive vs. too familiar

  • Any parts that feel over-scoped for an indie-friendly plan

  • If the “Case File / artifact inspection” system sounds compelling
