It would be very helpful if you guys added better comments to your game demo source code. Trying to read through the ShooterGame example and making sense of everything is very intuitive.

Definitely something that is on our radar. We really want to improve the comments in the main gameplay classes (or add it where it doesn’t even exist currently). Making sure the learning examples we put out are as useful as possible is a big deal to us too. We are chipping away little by little and will continue to do so.
