Can we have a button/icon in Blueprint Editor to maximize the EventGraph and Construction Script viewport, hidding all other tabs, to have more free work area to view the node network (like we have ‘Immersive Mode’ in the Level Editor´s viewport). Expert users could then work only with keyboard shortcuts and right-click menus.
Hi Athos,
I am creating the feature request for this, but I had a question. How would you like the tabs handled? EventGraph, Functions, Timelines and Construction Script I mean. Would they remain tabs at the top or be completely hidden?
Thanks,
Alexander
I had in mind ‘completely hidden’, but some collapsed tabs at the top would be good, maybe some floating collapsed tabs like we see in Silo3D or any other app focused in fullscreen workflows.
Any way to get more free workspace to the graph pane, more screen area.
Alright then, I have entered the report for your feature. If there is anything else that we can do to improve workflow, just let us know.
Thank you,
Alexander
I also miss this feature for quickly maximizing Blueprint workspace.
I created a short example Video how Maxon Cinema 4D handles Layouts and Fullscreen modes, this might be helpful as an inspiration for the UI/UX Design Team:
Best, moI would like the maximize tab feature to be for every type of tab besides Blueprint Editor viewport.
This would be akin to the SHIFT + Spacebar usage in Unity.
I only have 1 monitor so I use half my screen for my web browser and the other half for UE.
