Hey,
so I am pretty new to UE and get lost sometimes…
SO, I want to port the flying dynamics and controls of the handgldier within this demo level https://www.unrealengine.com/blog/new-on-marketplace-landscape-mountains .
I want to port it to a FPS controller/character, and have the ability to take off after running or reaching a certain speed. The latter I can accomplish; However, I need help on porting the functionalities.
What I figured out so far is to copy world loc/rot of the FPS character to the handglider, and then possess the handglider via a command. However, I want a smooth transition. Also, the handglider doesnt stay stationary on the ground a la fallout; another thing I want to fix.
