Repository not found

Hello, I was making a game in Unreal Engine for Fortnite and used revision control to back up my progress. I got a new graphics card today and reset my PC for a fresh install. After downloading UEFN and launching it, I tried to sync my project but got this error: Repository not found: Metadata not found.

Hi @poliangle just came across your report - sorry to hear you ran into this. Are you still blocked? If so I’d be happy to help you try to recover your previous state

I’ll also try reaching out to you on discord.

I had the same problem and here’s what fixed it for me:

  1. Open Windows Defender FirewallAllow an app through Windows Firewall.

  2. Click Change settings.

  3. Add UEFN (Unreal Editor for Fortnite) and Epic Games Launcher to the list (browse to the .exe if they are missing).

  4. Check both Private and Public boxes.

  5. Save and restart UEFN/Launcher.
