Reporting Ai Generated Content that isn't tagged as such gets a "no action taken" response

According to the EULA, all content put up on the marketplace that was created with the use of Generative Ai must have that indicated on the storefront.

However, I purchased an asset a while back that we only just got around to using and, upon closer inspection, realized that it was absolutely made with generative Ai. Everything from the texture files of the fish to the normal maps makes it abundantly clear (something that isn’t displayed at all on the marketplace page).

When I reported this asset, there was no option for “Violating Terms and Conditions” or “Generated with Ai but not disclosed.” I could only select “Rules Violation” as the reason for the report.

The result?

“No Action Taken”

I appealed, where I was finally able to submit more information (something that we should be allowed to do upon submitting an initial report) and almost immediately was spit back with “No action taken.”

Which means either Fab is using some kind of Ai to filter their complaints and auto-reject them or whoever is reviewing them is not actually looking at the information in the appeals.

Has anybody successfully managed to file a complaint about undisclosed Ai generated content?

If so, how did you manage it?

I do not want Ai generated content in any of my games that I make, so not being able to rely on the filter or the reporting tool for things that are undisclosed makes me not want to spend money at all on any fab assets.

From what i seen @Hourences did said they were modifying the report to select AI Generated on this announcement but it look like they didnt yet.

I suggest reporting it via their support page form on support.fab.com/s/?ProductOrigin=FabSupport , you could also ask for a refund for the product purchased.

The current report button am guessing only retrigger a scan system but only for mature content(text + images or metadata).

As @Arodi007 has suggested, reaching out via Fab Support is the way forward on this one as they will need some details to be able to proceed investigating and issuing refunds.

Modifying the reporting structure and options is in the works, but will be here soon!

Per the suggestions of @arodi007 and @skyeden, I’ve submitted a report through fab support. Fingers crossed something comes of it because the Ai slop is Ai slop.
