Hello,
I have made scan using Jpgs but later on I’ve saved proper rebalanced Tiffs from Raw files. Is there a way to replace Jpgs with Tiffs set for texturing? It is important because I want to export them undistorted (inner region) with cameras and I don’t want to redo the calculation of 1500 photos.
Thank you in advance!
J
Can’t imagine how that would work other than using XMPs and then you’d probably have to rename all of them.
Might take longer than another calculation though…
Hello Gotz,
OK I add tiffs to the project but would be great to have an option in RC when you mass select jpgs and remove them with one click.
Instead when I select all of them I have to click “disable the image for further processing” but I don’t want to do that 1500 times.
Cheers!
J
You can open your .rcproj file in a text editor (I like editpad for stuff like this).
Do a batch replacement of .jpg with .tiff. Also change the path if you like.
Save.
Ah excellent, quick and easy!
I wondered if that was possible…
Thank you Greg this works!
Yet there is no 16bit tiff output, that’s the worst thing for vfx pipeline, as I wanted to be able to export along with cameras undistorted tiffs for further work (mari) etc.
