RenderTarget from SceneCapture2D is almost completely black

I’m trying to use a SceneCapture2D to capture a scene and put it in a RenderTarget. I’ve looked at a ton of guides and forum posts and still can’t find an answer to why the final photo is so dark. On the left is in viewfinder, and on the right is the actual photo.

I’ve tried adjusting the Gamma of the RT, turned on Always Persist Rendering, tried all of the Capture Source options (LDR, HDR, etc.). I examined all my PPV’s so I’m almost certain that’s not an issue. I can’t for the life of me figure this out. Has anyone experienced the same issue and found a solution?

Did you tried setup your render target like this one:

Thank you for the response! To be honest I have no clue what fixed the problem, maybe making the RT from the content browser rather than from the SceneCapture options fixed it. All I did was refresh the RT being used and redid parts of the material and magically everything is bright again.

I can only assume RenderTargets are buggy and have problems with not updating properly. Will add more if I figure anything else out.
