Rendering - Screen tearing and visible artifacts in editor and PIE when viewing Valley of the Ancient/Ancient World map

Pulled UE5 from Epic Games Launcher, along with Valley of the Ancient project. Project loads without errors but I’m getting crawling bands of noise in editor and PIE. What’s likely to be going on here?

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3950X 16-Core
RAM: 64GB
GPU: nVidia GeForce RTX 2080 Super (total memory: 40739 MB, VRAM 8010 MB, Shared: 32729 MB)
nVidia driver version 466.47 (Current as of 05.26.2021)

Try updating to latest drivers. I had them a few month old, but got like 90% of the screen bugged similar to yours.

Edit:
Sorry, didn’t notice your setup, still updating to the latest hotfix drivers (from guru3d) seems to fixed a similar issue to yours.

Hi - Thanks for the reply!

Yeah drivers are current but it does appear that a system reboot alleviated the problem. Possibly the GPU had gotten into a funky state and just needed something cleared. On the bad runs I was also getting log warnings about long wait times for PSO’s.

On a post-reboot test artifacts are no longer present, and frame is taking a very reasonable 29ms to render in the starting view. Log warnings about the pipeline state objects are no longer appearing.

Well, then maybe actually the restart after driver install helped in my case too
