Rendering out an alpha pass

Definitely one of the coolest ‘hidden’ new features of UE4.25+. Window > Cinematics > Movie Render Queue Rendering Alphas Out Of Unreal Engine - YouTube

Needs to be enabled in Plugins. Allowing you to export 16 bit exrs ie alpha channel!

Does anyone know if there is a way to have an HDR background which influences your actors but is NOT rendered out? Guessing there is but haven’t figured it out.

4.26 just added more render pass options.
In post video app of course you can remove BG with the alpha.

Thanks. Also discovered I can apply my cubemap to the Skylight instead.
