Rendering on a second computer

I often work on projects where I create 50 or more images. Rendering all of them in high quality takes quite a long time (about 15 to 20 minutes per image). I usually do the rendering at night because rendering and working on another project at the same time significantly slows down my workflow.

Now I’m wondering whether it’s possible to render on a second computer? Or can rendering only be done on the computer where the project was originally created? I’m concerned that if I render on a second computer, Twinmotion won’t be able to find the links to the materials and objects.

For your information: I store all my projects and materials on a server.

Does anyone have any advice on this?

Yes, I’ve rendered on multiple computers. If you have any broken links, use the Resource Collector and put them on your network.

Thank you for your response. Are you satisfied with this way of working? Would you recommend it? Because it’s quite an investment to provide an additional computer that also has sufficient graphics memory.

I haven’t had any issues. It also confirms that you really have all the files you need to render your TM file elsewhere. I’ve accidentally lost some textures that I didn’t realize were only on my C: drive after upgrading.
