Rendering multiple still frames using MRQ

Hi All,

I have been trying to render multiple still frames in the movie render queue using 1 single level sequence. However, everything i try gives me stills that have motion in them.

My process:
I create a level sequence
I add the objects that i need for that sequence.
I create a single cine cam and add that as well.
I position everything for the first frame and add keyframes
I move the timeline to the second frame and reposition everything and add keyframes.

After a couple of frames, I save my sequence and add it to the MRQ, put in my settings and hit render. Now all the shots are more or less in-between the frames. So there is motion in each frame.

What am I doing wrong? Do i need to put every still i want to render in a different sequence or is there a setting i am missing?

I render using the Path tracer.

Any guidence would be greatly appriciated!

Kind regards.

Temporal Samples will gather data from the previous frames depending on how you have your camera motion blur set. By default its frame center. You can try and render with only 1 temporal sample and disable motion blur.

Rendering several individual frames through MRQ (Maya Render Queue) optimizes your animation process by effectively handling render tasks. MRQ enables you to prioritize and process frames in groups, minimizing downtime and maintaining uniformity. This effective feature improves efficiency, empowering artists to concentrate on creativity while effortlessly achieving impressive results!
