Rendering issues

Hi.
When I make a 3D files, there are some dented parts, ‘cap3’.

Due to this, even though this place has clear camera picture, attachment ‘cap2’, exported output has not good quality.
I guess it is caused by right foot. The right foot blocks some cameras which take inner parts of body.
Can I fix this problem through adjusting RC setting?

Another issue is Normal Detail.
After I run Normal Detail, run Simplify Tool as well, because I do not need such high polygon.
Preview is too low, but normal is still too high.
I tried adjusting setting values, but I don’t think it works.
What if I need just 1,500,000 in Target triangles count, what should I do?

Thanks! :stuck_out_tongue:

Simplify is your friend if you want to reduce triangle count.

It really is. Then can I understand there is no way to get proper amount of triangle count.

What about the first question? crashed meshes.

Hi TY Lee
the dents look like a not ideal alignment or the images are just too dark to extract ( calculate ) proper depth maps. This can be solved in more ways - mostly are used projected patterns to get it to work.
