Hey everyone! I want to mess up the unreal rendering on purpose, What would be some ways i could do this, The main effect i’m going for would be textures that freak out and bend and stuff when you turn your camera or your moving.
Anyone know any ways i can do this? I just want to make some temporary trippy render glitches to throw at the player randomly.
You could use “Reflection Vector” and “World Position” nodes in some of your materials. Maybe add tessellation and crazy world position offsets. Maybe use a fresnel or similar mask to blend between two different diffuse textures. And of course, mess with the post-process to get some awful aberrations and screwy LUTs. Have fun!
