render problem

Hey guys i have a problem when rendering walls and floor. The problem is that when i am inside of a room and there is a light placed in the room next to the one i am in or a light placed in the exterior part of the building (such as directional light, point light, etc.) there seems to be light entering the room from the edges of the wall. I have provided examples of my problem. I have unwrapped the 2nd UV channel for the walls in the room. I have also placed a wall behind the walls to see if it might fix the problem but i still get the same results.
Here are images of the problem.

if anyone can help me resolve the issue or minimise the effect it would be a tremendous help!!! thanks in advance !

Make sure that none of the walls or anything extend beyond the corner, if there’s illumination on an outside surface it can bleed to the inside.

What is your lighting quality set to in Build Options?
If the other suggestions don’t work, that might be a problem. At least it was for me when my Lighting Quality was set to preview.

Thanks for the reply darhviper107, what do you mean by “make sure that none of the walls extend beyond the corner”. In my example theres a floor slab and the room is one whole group of walls. On the other side wall shown in the picture there is another room where the directional light is coming from.

He means that your floor should be separate meshes also, so that the floor mesh isn’t shared between multiple rooms. That light is the lighting from the next room bleeding through, since lightmaps are smoothed. Increasing your lightmap resolution may work.
