Renaming components in Blueprints does not update existing events with that component

I am on 4.0.2

So let’s say you add a box component to a Blueprint. It’s called Box1. Now you create Blueprint events based on that component. Then you rename box component to TriggerVolume. events will no longer work because they are still associated with Box1 component.

If this occurs, it seems like Blueprint events should be updated to new name of component.

I’m on version 4.7.6, and this is currently happening to me. Is this still an issue?

This was reported with a much older version of engine, which has changed significantly since. If you’re experiencing this in 4.7.6, please open a new post in Bug Reports section with as much information and reproduction steps as you can provide so we can take a look. Thanks!
