Or better still, just remove them from use altogether. They’re completely unreliable and too easily abused, I doubt anyone really finds them useful.
Still, with respect to threads about released marketplace items in particular, it doesn’t feel right. There’s a small chance someone may be swayed or put off something by taking this as a reflection of the quality of the item to which the thread pertains, and ratings should be kept to the marketplace itself.
