I have over 900 assets in my library. Why do I need to scroll for minutes to get to the bottom of it?
Please bring back the page selection at the bottom of the library and in the store. This is a digital store, not a social network, that needs an infinite scrolling feature.
Here are the reasons why infinite scrolling is horrible:
It slows down any browser when many items are loaded.
I can’t resume search if I close my browser.
I can’t resume my search if a browser tab crashes or is reloaded.
Loading the next page is much slower and hurts the experience.
IN CONCLUSION
Infinite scrolling was invented for social networks so people can consume content uninterrupted. It’s not a feature fit for a professional site like FAB. It hurts the user experience. Sites like Amazon, Google, and pretty much any other non-social network site use pages because they provide a robust experience compared to Inf. Scrolling.

TOTALLY AGREE, The infinite scroll is a huge problem, before you could browse through hundreds of pages and save where you were. Now there is infinite scrolling with thousands of assets and you can’t continue for another while. AN INSANE F**K UP.
But not only that, they have broken the store completely. For example now we go to ‘intelligent resources’ and we have characters, but in 3D models we also have ‘3d characters’ and the same happens with objects, hundreds of 3D models scattered in a thousand useless categories instead of being ALL in ‘3D MODELS’ and that’s it. Personally it is a rubbish store, the genius who designed this new shop…
I was browsing Fab, but due to the infinite scrolling, I can’t pick up where I left off. The infinite scrolling makes it more difficult to find content.
I think Fab should offer to load pages of e.g. 25, 50, 100 items, selected through a dropdown.
Thanks for the update! I am looking forward to further improvements to the store. I sincerely hope the team is focused on the best customer experience over a good-looking design
Yes - infinite scrolling + lack of “newly listed” at the top/front makes the new store much more difficult. +1 vote from me as well for this. Infinite scrolling is the new fad for UI/UX but UI teams seems to have forgotten they are making a store, not Instagram.
