Remove cameras from sequencer without deleting them from outliner?

I have a bunch of cameras in a sequence and I’m trying (unsuccessfully) to render all of them. Following a Google thread I made them all spawnable, which didn’t help, and now if I remove them from the sequencer they are also deleted from the outliner. How can I make them NOT spawnable and/or remove them without deleting, so I can try adding them again?

Found it, if it’s a bit unwieldy. All the cameras have to be duplicated in the outliner. The duplicates won’t be spawned by the sequence. The old ones can then be deleted and the new ones dragged in.
